What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our website. If you would prefer to use PayPal, please contact us and we can complete your purchase that way as well.

How do I place an order?

You can place your order via our website by going through the shopping cart, send us an email, or call us at 973-954-2690 and we can complete your order by phone

How do I know my purchase is secure?

We use the industry standard SSL protocol to encrypt all purchase information transmitted between our site and our credit card provider. Our provider is a certified as a PCI Level 1 servicer, an industry best practice. Benchmark Bags does not store any credit card or non-public personal information (NPPI) on its website. Nor do we sell or market your information to any third party companies or advertisers.

Can I change my order after it is placed?

Orders generally ship the following business day. If you would like to make a change, please contact us prior to receiving a confirmation that your order has shipped and we will be more than happy to modify your order. If you would like to change your order after receiving a shipping confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to honor your request.

Do you charge Sales Tax?

All orders shipped to New Jersey will be required to pay 7% sales tax.


How do your ship your products?

We ship all of our products using USPS. All orders include a tracking number.

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the United States and Canada. We plan on expanding our shipping options soon to include Europe, but in the interim, if you live outside of our current shipping region, please contact us and we will work with you to get a bag in your hands.

How long will it take to receive my bag?

Shipping time varies depending on your location, but most customers receive their bags within 5 business days of the shipping date. All of our products ship from New Jersey so shipping addresses closer to our warehouse usually receive their orders sooner.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping fees are charged a flat rate by product: Weekender (Leather or Canvas): $15; Briefcase: $12; Cardholder: $2

Returns and Exchanges

How do I return or exchange an item?

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please send us an email at and include your order number and "Exchange" or "Return" in the subject line. We will give you a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number and the address to send the product. You can find our full returns and exchange policy here.

How long does it take to process an exchange or return?

You will receive a notification when we receive your returned product. We will then inspect the product to confirm that is in new, unworn condition. This process generally takes 2-3 days. Upon approving the return, we will initiate a refund to the card originally used to purchase the good.

How long does it take for the credit to appear back on my credit card?

It normally takes 1 business day to show up on your credit card, but can take up to 5 business days depending on your credit card provider.

What happens if my item arrives damaged or defective?

First of all, we are incredibly sorry for our mistake and we promise to do everything in our power to right the situation. Please take a photo of the damaged product and email it to with a subject line referencing your order number and "Damaged Product". We will correct the problem as quickly as possible.

You can purchase Benchmark Bags products through our website or from select retailers in the New York City metropolitan area.

What materials go into your bags?

Where are your bags manufactured?

Our bags are made China at the same workshop that crafts products for a number of luxury labels. After vetting a great number of manufacturers, both domestic and broad, we chose the one that consistently produced the highest quality product.
